Update of a Lifetime

So I haven't blogged in forever. But I have been typing out blog posts just not uploading it. So instead of uploading 20 million posts I'm gona do a mass update of all the movies and series I typed about or thought about typing about(does that sentence make sense???). OK here we go.....

Series I'm obsessed with again since the beginning of the new season; Suits, Breaking Bad, and Vampire Diaries season 4 of course, 2 broke Girls, New Girl, Greys Anatomy, Glee, and Supernatural (reluctantly), and all those other ones I'm sure I'm forgetting. I also just wanted to state how much I LOVE Supernatural before I say how much I HATE season 8!!! My only reasoning for this is that they should have stopped at season 5!!!! (That is a post I will upload later, it’s just too good to not give to my fans, assuming people care about my blog). New series that make me happy HAVE to include Bunheads, which is basically a newer version of Gilmore Girls. Scandal, or as we South Africans know it, The Fixer which is by far the AWESOMEST new show on TV!!!! And then there's the, at first intriguing, now absolutely boring and horrible Smash. I mean I love the concept and yes thank you Debra Messing for being so amazeballs, but OH MY GOSH!!! That show sucks ASS!!! The only reason I watch it is because every now and then there's an awesome stage number of brilliance. Also Happy Endings is a GREAT show; it’s one of those How I Met Your Mother/Will and Grace/Friends series of a group of friends that makes one jealous and hate your own friends for not being so AWSOME!!!!   I think that's it for the series portion now on to the movies.

MOVIE MOVIES MOVIES!!!! The HELL NO includes: Battleship, Killer Joe, Step Up 4 (really another one???), The Amazing SpiderNO and to many others to mention plus then I’ll have to recall that horrible sad memory of stupid movies. LOVED TED, very funny plus Mark Wahlburg so why would one ever say no???? The Dark Knight Rises = YES!!!! Breaking Dawn Part 2 which will deffos have an individual post because I'm so Twilight crazy and a good and proper goodbye to the series must be had. Jack Reacher, not horrible actually nice and just a little enjoyable. Pitch Perfect, OMG YES YES YES!!!! Girls singing and looking GORGEOUS while doing it is a definite ‘buy as soon as it comes out’ movie. All the Snow White inspired movies is a YES. Other YESES include: Safe, Dark Shadow, What to Expect When Expecting, Brave, and Total Recall. With the best movie of 2012 going to the one the only The AVENGERS!!!!! And my favouritest movie of this year so far is....drum roll please.....The Perks of Being Wallflower, yes it was out 7 years ago everywhere else in the world but only came here this year.

If you’ve read all my posts so far I’d like to say thank you for the support and apologise for keeping my awesome thoughts from you for so long. And yes I realize I haven't said it yet, so I will type the words you crave to see. BEST MOVIE(S AND SERIES) EVER!!!!!!!

TEEN WOLF

Based on the 1985 movie of the same name this series is about a teenage shape shifter going through the normal and not so normal changes of the average teenage dude. Now that the ‘not so formal’ formalities are over and can be all girly and crazy about who stars in this AWESOME show. We know him as the little boy from Maid in Manhattan, this boy has blossomed from a cute innocent child into a GORGEOUS hunk of sexiness he is the one, the only...Tyler Posey (character name: Scott McCall....aaaahhhh and the crowd goes wild). And then of cause there's the lesser not so awesome but equally cool co-stars like Stiles played by Dylan O’Brien who is Scott’s best friend, Derek hale played by Tyler Hoechlin, who plays the Alpha wolf of the pack; Scott’s girlfriend Allison Argent played by some random unknown (to me ) Crystal Reed and her best friend Lydia Martin played some other random unknown (to me) Holland Roden, there's also some other eye candy in the form of a popular guy with adoptive parent issues, Jackson Whittermore played by Colton Haynes. This plus the other randoms like parents and other wolfs in the pack make up the awesome cast of Teen Wolf.

Now I'm not gona go into detail about what’s going on in the series, you can watch it yourself!!! But what I will do is talk about how actually terrible the show is...yes I said terrible...and no I don't mean terrible I don't watch it, but terrible in the sense of ‘where in the world did they get their SGI Special Effects dudes???’. I mean really, this is a successful series as far as I know couldn't you get any better special effects than what you have??? I’m in the second season episode 9 and every time I see them change into wolves or see some random other creature of the night I LAUGH MY ASSS OFF!!!! And then there's the fact that some of these actors really suck at their job of ACTING!!! Although there are all these signs telling me not to watch this show and almost screaming at me about how inferior this crap is...I’m still absolutely IN LOVE with this show!!! I think the thing that keeps me coming back is the one the only...NO NOT Posey...but....Mr Dylan O’Brien. His sarcastic tone to everything that happens in the show is so absolutely brilliant!!! He makes me want to watch every episode and then there's the fact that there's not one episode that does not show the AWESOMENESS of some hot guys abs and GORGEOUSNESS!!!! So in all I give this show a thumbs and toes up!!! A must watch in this sad un-supernatural world, even if it’s just to see some hot guys pretend to be werewolves.

Magic Mike

Oh how magical you are Mike!!! Ladies, I'm sure you’ve heard of this movie??? If not let me give you ‘the’ reason to watch it...hot guys stripping!!! And that's all I needed to hear to get my ass off that couch at home and make a trip to the movie theatre and watch this heavenly sent film. And the fact that the guys doing the stripping are Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer and Matthew McConaughey; also starring Joe Manganiello (Trueblood), Matt Bomer (White Collar), Adam Rodríguez (CSI Miami) and Cody Horn (absolutely no idea where she comes from); doesn't hurt one bit!!! Now once you get over the abs, butt cheeks and dry humping the movie isn’t actually that bad, but it’s also not that good either. The film is based on a struggling entrepreneur Mike (Tatum) who befriends a 19 year old boy Adam (Pettyfer) who has just moved to Tampa, Florida. Mike helps Adam get a job at a club he works at, Adam is drawn into this world of desire, women, sex and drugs, and that's where it starts to get weird!!!

I mean don't get me wrong the stripping and dancing in the movie is more than satisfactory but when Adam starts to use and abuse drugs and alcohol the actual plot of the movie is revealed. It’s actually a weird story line of a troubled teen, who goes in the wrong direction and a older guy (Mike) who wants to change his direction, if you catch my drift?!?! I don't want to give too much of the story away but I do think all ladies should watch it, because as weird as it might be there are awesome guys showing everything except their ‘meat and 2 veg’. What I can advise is that you watch this movie with a bunch of crazy girlfriends, cause there’s bound to be some ‘wooohoooo’s’ and ‘take it off’ moments!!! And to the creators of this movie I would just like to say THANK YOU!!! Thank you so much for this awesome ABTASTIC film. That’s it from me today!!! I have nothing else to say of the subject...oh wait.... I forgot to say the most important thing about this movie...BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!! (and scene)

21 Jump Street

So I just watched 21 Jump Street, and yeah I'm gona say it “BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!”  Yes, it’s another remake and yes the world is obviously out of ideas, because all that seems to be coming out now-a-days is remakes and sequels. I mean seriously people can’t you come up with anything new?? Find a book and make a film from that but now you’re sitting around and just rewriting and adding on to already existing movie franchises. But let me get back to typing about the movie I just watched, 21 Jump Street.

It was probably the most hilarious movie I’ve watched this year. Like that truly laugh every second of the movie funny, that can’t even breathe between jokes funny, that giggling like a school girl funny that makes your stomach muscles ache with either pain or pleasure I can never decide. I thought it would be the average adults pretend to be students thing and blah blah blah, but it was actually done in a great funny as hell way. The movie is about two guys who become friends in police academy. They are assigned to a revived division named 21 Jump Street that specialises in infiltrating high schools. The two cops Morton Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Greg Jenko (Channing Tatum) are assigned to infiltrate their old high school to stop a new synthetic drug from spreading to other schools. And then insert funnyness and all the drama one could expect from a movie with Jonah Hill. And dare I say that Channing Tatum is a good Johnny Depp hotness replacement. Let me just clarify something very important: I'm not under any false pretence that Channing can act, cause everyone knows that that gorgeous hunk of heavenly sexiness was blessed with looks that could put me in a coma for days but the “how to act” folder was left out when that fine specimen was created. Even though that might be a universal truth he doesn't actually SUCK in the movie. He actually did a great job (and that is saying something people). The cast made me happy there was Dave Franco (James Franco’s little brother), Brie Larson (the chick from United States of Tara) and Ice Cube (who doesn't really need a ‘the dude from’). There is also a surprise cameo of the original 21 Jump Street dudes, Johnny Depp (Tom Hanson) and Peter DeLuise (Doug Penhall).

It was a really awesome movie and I highly recommend it as a must buy and watch four hundred and twenty-seven times type of movie. You’ll laugh your ass off and gain all the weight again by the amount of pity eating you’ll be doing when you realise that Channing is off limits to us mere mortals.
