The end of an
era has occurred, about like 7 years ago, but an end none-the-less. Many of you
may know that I am a Twihard through and
through...some say...if you cut me open I bleed...blood...real blood that
vampires drink...just saying!!! But anyways let’s get to my love, the amazing,
the beautifully written and skilfully acted franchise of AWESOMENESSSS that
is.....(drum roll please)...The Twilight Saga.
Need I even
type a synopsis of the film series??? If you don't at least almost pretend to
guess what the films are about, you have no business being here!!! I mean I;
for some unknown reason; hate The Lord of the Rings series but I at least
understand what’s going on there more or less. But anyways....let me get to what
you are here to read. Twilight has been a part of my life for so long now.
Every year I would be impatiently waiting for November to come around so I
could finally watch the new movie and this was going on since 2009. I became
utterly obsessed with the series both film and book and was known as the crazy
twilight girl. I prided myself in being able to turn any topic of conversation
into Twilight and people were probably annoyed as soul. But I didn’t care!!! I
was bitten by the Twilight bug of AWSEOMENESSSS. I mean why would you not love
this brilliant series??? There are Vampires and Werewolves, and is perhaps one
of the most iconic love stories in the history of my world. Twilight has become
synonymous with famous couples of the past, when I say Romeo what do you think
of??? or Jack Dawson or even Starsky and....My point is, if you hear Edward
don't you just automatically think of Bella?? Or at least think “I hate that
stupid twilight crap it’s so gay”?? Either way you know what I'm talking about.
When the 5th
and final instalment of the franchise finally came out I was sad and excited,
sad that it would be over and excited to see what would be happening at the end
due to the rumours that were circulating. There said the end would be
different, they said it will shock you, they said it actually happens in the
book but would not be expected to be portrayed this way. So of course like a
good fan I went Google crazy and re-read the end of the book to predict the
ending...and OH MY HEAVEN...was I wrong. The beginning of the movie was what
was expected, even the vampires who came to witness weren’t that exciting, it
was the typical story line in the book. Then....They fight??? What they fight??...Yes
they fight. But not just Eclipse fight like EPIC kill half your favourite
characters fight. First to die Carlisle..WHAT...HEAD GONE!!! Why oh why have
you killed him. So of course Esme freaks out and all the witnesses are like
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Then the killing spree begins; Jasper dead; Alice goes
craze which leads to Jane’s stupid little brother and some Volturi idiots
death. Seth dies so Leah goes craze too, the earth is cracked open and all hell
breaks loose; Leah dies saving Esme. Edward kills some idiotic Volturi scum, Jane
runs a way like a little BITCH and then they finally kill the man that started
all this crap in the first place Aro = DEAD!!!! And if you were in the awesome
cinema I was in, you have crazy Twihards screaming at the screen with me!!! Applauding
the death of the enemy and mourning the deaths of our beloved characters.
And then like
one of those stories I'm sure we’ve all written for English at some point in
our lives....’they wake up and it was all just a dream’. Or in this case an
Alice fuelled vision of the future showing us what would happen if the Volturi
continued the path they were on. And the whole cinema simultaneously gives a
sigh of relief. The end scene will perhaps be my favouritest of the series,
even beating their first kiss in Twilight, her loving embrace that saves his
life in New Moon, the heart warming proposal in Eclipse and her gruesome birth
and change into a vampire in Breaking Dawn Part 1. Bella allows Edward into her
mind, and they replay their relationship throughout the 4 films. I would just
like to take this time to say Thank You to the Creators of this magnificent
saga, it has brought me so much joy and has made me so much CRAZIER!!!! Then
the last image we will ever see in the end of The Twilight Saga, the words that
will forever be etched into my skull, the words that lets you know just how
awesome this saga is, the words that are so simple and so cliché yet so absolutely
unique.......
